Over the past two decades, the state of New York and the rest of the country have seen their fair share of change and growth. The same can be said for Stephen Donnelly & Associates, which grew from modest beginnings into one of the premier marketing and public relations firms in the state.
In 2002, SD&A started as a one-man consultancy firm, its founder Stephen Donnelly, who was 23 at the time, working in conjunction with a handful of companies and individuals in the region. Now 20 years later, SD&A has become a full-service marketing enterprise, working in partnership with more than 1,000 companies since launching. That growth has led to the creation of offices in Owego and Binghamton, with more branches coming to new communities soon.
“It’s hard to believe how much the entire company has evolved in these short 20 years,” Donnelly said. “When I first opened the doors, I had hoped to help as many companies and businesses grow in the communities that I call home. And now, we have more than 50 clients, working hard every day to help grow their brands and make a meaningful difference for their customers and employees alike.”
SD&A is committed to making an impact, which is why it represents clients from a wide variety of industries that all make communities in the Southern Tier and beyond better places to live. This includes animal care sanctuaries, companies that specialize in recycling and clean energy, and organizations dedicated to supporting the cultural arts. SD&A also strives to help new businesses secure a foothold in the market and even works with local political candidates to make sure their messages are delivered to those they will serve.
To celebrate this tremendous growth and success, SD&A will host a 20th anniversary celebration for its staff, clients, and community partners at PS Restaurant in Binghamton, NY, on Thursday, April 7. Guests will enjoy an evening of food, music, networking, and celebration as we set the tone for the next 20 years!
